Not for me.

The IID can do more in the diagnostic realm and many phones will give you a hot spot. Those both sound good. This thing allows an Internet connection DIRECTLY into important car systems. I would NOT want that. I've seen the stories about various cars being hacked. A car without a wifi connection cannot be hacked remotely. If I had a brand new car with onboard wifi, I'd be turning it off permanently for that very reason.
