My first thought is the Battery but I suppose that would cause ether clunk in reverse! |

Has it happened once, regularly or every time? Does it happen in Drive and sports mode? Do the faults clear on start up? Has it had a transmission service? ______________________________

Start with the battery light on part and work from there.

A long shot, but I had the same symptoms after doing the thermostat housing.

New alternator fitted and the FF now running like a dream |
