Well I heard someone say there are thousands of things that can go wrong with that engine, I knew they were exaggerating.... there are only 999 fault codes.... Rolling Eyes

I suppose that when you thing of the TDV8 has almost twice as many things to go wrong compared with my TD6, I thing I'll stick with my German Tractor.... apart from the French gearbox I think they are stronger Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

That list is for the Sport; would the fault codes for FFRR be the same?

Yes it's for a sport, but it is a Land Rover product with a TDV8 engine, as I don't have access to any fault codes I'm unable to check....... but I would be surprised if they had invented a different set of codes for the ffrr, as that would mean bigger development costs, different software for the Testbooks, personally I can't see them being different, but I would check a few first Thumbs Up Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Just had a look at the codes / another thread and the only fault code that begins with a P is P0562 - System voltage low , which the sport code has the same fault for the same code Thumbs Up

The shocking thing is they are P codes... that seams to be just the engine ECU, there are a lot more codes out there beginning with B .... U..... Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

P is powertrain (i.e. transmission etc. also), B body, C chassis and U are communications faults. Wink

FWIW, you can also get the LR fault code descriptors from the BAS website - just type the code in the search box (5 digits only). Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
