Can anyone tell me what this is off ? It is a 20" that came as a spare but I've since found out it's useless to me as my nuts don't fit ! Plus mines on 22" after market rims I think. ( I'm sure about the 22" thing, though )

Hi - that is a range rover wheel - probably what was originally fitted to your car and needs 2002 - 2005 wheel nuts to fit. Sounds like your aftermarkets came with their own nuts which are larger.

as darren says....because its got little holes in between the stud holes it makes it a 2002-2005 7 spoke....if it had dimples instead of little holes then it would need the larger 23mm shank wheel nuts... ... - .- -.

Is that so, my fitted wheels have holes, the spare has dimples.
Will the hole wheel nuts hold the dimple on?
If not I too have a useless spare but the other way around!

they will hold but i personally wouldnt like to drive it that way...might be worth spending out on five proper nuts.. ... - .- -.

No further forward, local dismantler would only sell a full set complete with 4 looking nuts.
OK I only need 5 but they are too big, the shaft wont fit in the spare, originals will with a little rattle space as Stan said, not that I doubted his word.

So what do the nuts fit? They are complete with chromed covers I'll get them on interweb sale site and try and get some of my pension back.

Anyone got 5 23mm nuts they are willing to part with?

I have a spare genuine pre 2006 in that style with no tyre (with the holes) and some spare wheel nuts. U can have the nuts for free. Pm me if u r interested in the wheel. It has some scuffs (like it when I bought it) but is good enough for a spare.

Don't you just love the way people offer help to complete strangers.
I have a spare with dimples so need 5 of the 23mm chrome type nuts should it ever need to be fitted.
The fitted wheels have the holes and rusty nuts with plastic covers, 4 silvered and one black on the looking nut.
It is very kind of you to offer but I don't think it will help me, thank you anyway.

Update - I emailed the dismantler not expecting a reply and lo there was one in my email. 5 correct nuts on their way Tuesday. He thinks the nuts may be for a P38 the locking nuts have a dimple in the chrome cover if that helps identify them. Strict no returns policy so I'm stuck with them.

I have a 2007 year TDV8 with the 'dimples' wheels but made the mistake of buying an older version of the wheel with the 'holes' as a spare, it is sitting in my shed with a very good tread but very old Michelin 255/50 20 tyre on it, has been refurbed previously so nice a shiny.
