Morning guys.
My TD6 L322 has just developed a fluid leak underneath the car at the rear of the engine bay.
It only drips this fluid when the engine starts.
The oil, ATF, brake fluid and coolant levels are constant and the fluid is clear with a very, very, very slight yellow colouring to it when on a piece of tissue paper.
The fluid has a slight odour to it.
The brake fluid reservoir has been overfilled by a mechanic when the front brakes were changed and it was my intention to draw some of it off to reduce the level.

Any thoughts what it might be guys before I toddle off to the local garage.

No warning lights have come on the dash either. Travelling around in circles again.

I have just checked the car and fluids again and put a drop of ATF, Brake fluid, Coolant and Oil on a piece of tissue and none of them match the colour of the very pale coloured liquid that drips from the engine bay when the engine is started.

I'm now thinking a possible fuel leak?

coincidence that this leak has appeared after the brake fluid overfill..i'd suspect that...

take a bit of brake fluid out of the receptacle and compare to the stuff on the floor.. ... - .- -.

If it's very pale and clean and oily then either diesel or brake fluid...

If it's diesel you should be able to smell it.... Pete

There is a slight smell to it. I'll check the Brake fluid odour and colour again. Travelling around in circles again.

Now looks and smells like diesel.
Now off to practise my french  Travelling around in circles again.

Cat wee? (don't Laugh, there is a cat who cosies up some nights on my FFRR and leaves a little "Message")

Diesel.
There was a split in two of the flexible pipes that the fuel runs through (not the clear ones to the fuel filter) I took it into the local 'Roady' and they fixed it there and then for the equivalent of £55.
I think thats a good price.  Travelling around in circles again.
