Autocom / Delphi OBD2 diagnostics tool

Has anyone used an Autocom/Delphi OBD2 diagnostics tool on an L322? They claim it works on almost every car and system.

I have the GAP tool and just wondered which functions are IID tool specific.

Thanks

When you say "IID tool specific"? Question Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK

IID tool from GAP diagnostics (which I have at home). Some functions are probably only accessible with the IID tool and not with any other tool (besides genuine LR tools). As far as I know the IID tool is the most advanced LR aftermarket tool.

Right, I see. Thumbs Up

I can't speak for the Autocom, but as regards the IID, most of it's functions are not a direct IID monopoly in itself. Some other tools have similar functions as the car's systems provide for, though IID coverage is probably only paralleled by the more costly BBS MSV2. What is, however, different, is the way many things function - in that you have the bluetooth connction (on BT models) at your disposal to make live data graphing and fault code saving very easy and convenient. There is automatic file selection for ECU flashing with great stability and recovery precations available. You also have the ability to set suspension height presets and CCF and live value favourites (BT model). A great deal of effort has been put in to making it user friendly and convenient. It sounds like surprisingly little, but it actually makes a big difference. Thumbs Up Visiting from DISCO3.CO.UK
