Steering wheel and drivers seat electrics not working

Hey guys, the electronic adjustment for the steering wheel and drivers seat have stopped working suddenly, however the passenger side is still working fine. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem?? There is not even the sound of the motor trying to work or anything, just nothing?

I have had a search but not giving me the answer to this specific problem

Thank you

Check Fuse 20 (I think!) Its a 30A fuse and if its blown you will have a break in the wiring loom somewhere under the drivers seat.

I've recently had the exact same thing. Replacing the fuse caused it to blow immediately. The problem was traced to a wire that had worn the insulation through by the seat movement and was shorting out on the seat frame.

Thanks Paul, I've checked fuse 20 and 23, both are sound. I've read about the cog thingy but why would that make the seat pack up ?
