2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey
[For Sale] wheels 20"

The wheels came off my Vogue and were refurbished last October by my local RR dealer but never used since as I changed cars. the tyres have a fair bit of tread still on them, �400 ono collection only or you can arrange own carriage.

Just a heads up these will need packing.

Cardboard over the alloy and then the whole wheel wrapped in clear wrap.

I can't ship them unless this can be done.

Staples do a roll of clear wrap for a few quid.

Handy stuff to have around.

This is normally how I get wheels packaged when shipped from UK or Germany.

So a piece of cardboard on the front face of the alloy, do a cross over with packaging tape and then finish off with 3-4 turns on the outside of the wheel. Do you have enough of cardboard supply you can put a piece on either side.

Thinking about this, it's probably best to put a cardboard sheet on either side, in this way small packets cannot get stuck in the wheel.

Mark the recipients address on the cardboard and send off.

The link isn't working but I think your on the right track.

The photo of the four wheels are indeed FFRR wheels.

That shipper even crafted plywood for the wheels.

I will need to send 33sport the waybills BEFORE they are packed so they can go under the wrap.

So if its a go I will post them to him in a ;little shipping pack.

remember that it probably wont be big dave or his people doing the collection/delivery but another company that big dave has farmed the job out to , so make sure the wheels/tyres are really well packaged as these other courier company's dont care much about the handling of the items as would big dave if he was doing the job... ... - .- -.

UPS are indeed my courier of choice and I have moved wheels with them as far as Tasmania and as near as the UK.

The devil is indeed in the packing and ensuring the waybills are flat and secure.

This also allows them to be tracked along their whole journey.
