That's a fairly healthy figure, the LR one is 950 CCA, but only 90ah.

Have you tried measuring the battery voltage across the battery posts? It's always possible the battery terminals weren't tightened correctly when your new battery was fitted. |

I can't get my head round this, took it back to Indy today and they said fault code p00089-2f was stored fuel pressure regulator performance.

Sorry, but I've never heard of the symptoms you describe being attributed to low fuel pressure, you are more on the money with low voltage but I wouldn't have thought your slightly low battery will be the cause... take a visit to Cam-Tech, Craig will sort it out for you... Don't want to cast aspersions on your Indy but some are much better than others....

if its showing 12.5 at idle, that seems a bit low. Should should be reading around 13.5 minimum when running.

Just done a test with volt meter across the battery, 12.7 with ignition off and 14.7 when running with lights on at idle.

I'm starting to think failing alternator. A failed alternator in a FFR, D3/4/RRS will suck charge out of the battery. When mine completely failed it fully discharged the battery in under 10 minutes, after the battery was sitting on a charger for 2 days. Thankfully the battery survived after two full discharges that week.

I've twice experienced what you describe. Both ended with the alternator being replaced. Also had this when the fuel level was low although the computer indicated about 80 miles range so indicating the tank sensor is not that accurate. Adding fuel solved that. You can test by holding open the fuel rail Schrader valve when someone turns on the ignition. If it doesn't spray, not trickle out add fuel and retest.

Fuel is all ok. Never let it fall below 1/2 tank.

It's really, for me, pointing to the battery/alternator with the possibility of something draining the battery overnight hence the problem when starting in the morning. As soon as it starts the alternator is possibly bringing the battery up to a satisfactory level.
