There is Life Down Under

Well thought the Oz Nz section was looking a bit forlorn so a few pics of my last outing,
unfortunately none of the FF failing to proceed I don't believe I'm admitting this but we got stuck
had to be recovered by a freelander.

This is what the towing hitch looked like after being pulled out just a tad bent

The camp

It was a bit on the nippy side not only was the frost on the out side but on the inside as well

But the natives were friendly

Why did you get bogged down mate ??? And how can a Freeloader pull you out if the FFRR can't make it out by itself ?? Was weight the issue or was the Freo on better surface ??? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

G'Day Eb

Mate it was all my fault, we had been driving through boggy stretches of track all morning, then we came to a section that had brambles very thick right up to the edge pf the track both sides, and about a 100 yards of wet boggy stuff I should have known better any way started to drive through and it was a lot worse than it looked.
The FF got just far enough in so we could't open the doors and the front just sank. With the trailer on the back it would't even reverse out. Had to climb out the sun roof to get to the recovery gear, the freelander was still on the good bit of track any way it was a nice easy recovery, I think all the FL did was take a bit of the trailer weight and keep it in a stright line behind the FF

New set of tyres waiting to go on that would have helped the set thats on now are OK (legal)but no good in the mud
