Excessive wind noise in cabin at highway speeds

I don't remember this being an issue in my 2011 SC. I picked up a 2012 AB last week and the wind noise in the cabin at speeds > 45MPH is annoying. I checked all window seals and they all seem to be fully intact. Anybody experience this issue? I know the L322 is not the most aerodynamic work of art but never remember the sound quality inside the cabin to be so poor at high speeds...

I have heard of people having wind noise after a screen replacement. You could try taping up the screen trims, to see if the noise changes, with 2 inch masking tape over the joins. How about folding the mirrors at speed, for just a few seconds...
...and try laying off the baked bean curry for a few days.

@bluehorse,

Where about on the A pillar is the noise coming from/ does is sound like a window is partially open?

Our last L322 had this issue after a brand new door was fitted and the noise was directly in line with the driver's side outer mirror casing.

Intrusive Wind Noise - Manifested from 38mph and sounded like the driver's window was just open at the top although the window was fully closed.

It transpired that when the wing mirror housing had been put back on the new door, the wing mirror housing/ a seal aligment were slightly out.

There is apparently a Land Rover Technical Bulletin that main dealers have about the issue that affected ours. Ours was fixed.

Thanks for all the replies and ideas... I haven't had the time to deal with this yet but noticed the other day that my hood is a bit loose... There's a little play when pressing down on hood when in closed position. Is this normal?
I will let you know when I have more details.

As mentioned earlier, a roll of 2 inch masking tape, and a few journies, to find where the (masking panel joins, or door jams) cuts the noise, will give you the answers. It's not how it might look, it's how the wind finds it.
