Cheap venturecam alternative

http://m.aliexpress.com/item/32215041011.h...sitedetail

Found this by accident the other day, and thought. Since the analogue tuners in our FF's dont really get much use and a lot of the band is free , these would be handy alternatives to venturecams , theyre cheap and should be able to be picked up by the tv tuner in the car, built in battery too[/s] Current Vehicles :

I have one that looks very similar, but it has a receiver unit & composite video out - you can select one of 4 channels, but it does need the dedicated receiver unit.

This one implies that it has some sort of UHF transmitter built into it so that all you have to do is tune your TV to the correct channel.

I had mine as a venture-cam for my old Jeep Wrangler - I put stereo in that had 7" monitor as the head unit, so seemed like a good thing to do. As with 99% of venture cams - I didn't use it for anything other than showing people that I had it Whistle

Since I sold the car it's been in a box in my shed.

Gone to a good home
Free to a good home if anyone has a use for it drop me a PM -

The camera is about the size of lipstick - 7x2x2 cm the receiver is 8x11x2 cm

the biggest issue with most of them is, as above, needing a dedicated receiver. After that its the lack of an internal battery. The one I found seems to have both. Ill probably order one myself to give it a go. Current Vehicles :
