Heater blower speed indication - 2011

Can someone with with the last of the L322 tell me if , when the fan is operational, if the leds light up to show the speed, when in full auto mode?

Mine only light up when fan speed is set manually and I'm sure they used to light up, regardless, on my old 3.6.

Cheers.

Hi, I haven't got a late l322. If they are basically the same, when I set mine to say 2, oclock manually, it doesn't speed right up until I slow down, and when over 40 to 50 mph it slows down again.
I have no idea if yours is based on the same principal.

My MY12 does not indicate fan speed when on auto, only when manually set.

Hi,

I have an 06. The outer dots do light up dependent upon fan speed. (unless I have it on manual fan) To have both, direction and fan on auto, remember to have both lights in the center of the button (the dot and dash) on.

Cheers

Simon

ps the fan does take a couple of mins to come up to speed when it's cold outside - stops having blowing cold air into the cabin
