Thanks Dan - appreciate the offer - but it's a 2 hour round trip to Boston...

TBH I thought Marshalls were taking the for what is effectively an oil change & a bunch of checks, but sounds like that's the going rate - I thought £300 max

I usually have a local guy look after all our cars - and I tend to keep them for a long time.

I'm possibly emigrating this year - and if I do, I would need to sell the car - so I guess it's worth the extra now to maintain the FMDSH and the second year of my warranty.

Time to stop moaning about it & just get on with it I suppose
