Rear Screens Feed

Does anyone know what the input feed to the rear headrest screens are? I am wondering if i could intercept the feed in the seat and convert to standard RCA type plugs, i could then feed via a video out from a harddisk/pc for playing movies...

thx

I dont currently have that, i am looking at buying a set of front seats to replace mine that on the drivers side the heating has failed, much cheaper than the elements Smile.
For some reason the original purchaser of my vogue se had the RSE either not spec'ed or removed, the seats i have found that match mine all have the rear screen...

To add i think someone in the past has removed it rather than not getting spec'ed, as i have a hole in the rear left where the dvd player should be, i also have a hole where you took that picture Stan, looks like someone removed the whole lower part of the console, why i have not idea..

when you get the seats have a look underneath them and there should be a plug/socket that you could tap into... ... - .- -.

the RSE module is cheap enough too, as is the IO unit. The dvd changer is the only really expensive part if you have the screens. You could leave that out and just use AV

So those parts are just plug and play? Not worried about the DVD side as all my films are on my NAS so would just copy some off onto a drive...

CCF alteration to tell the head unit you have RSE but thats it.

theres a guide from a disco but the rse module is the same. obviously you can leave out the dvd changer bits.
