Another parking sensor question.

Since owning the car i've always just got a long beep and no parking sensors ( i have fr & RR. None work) . Now i know the front left parking sensor is not connected as when doing my 2010 conversion i accidently striped the wire of the connector but to close to re join ( need a plug with a lenght of wire if anyone got? can you buy these from RR?). Could of been like it before as very frail.

Would one parking sensor cause whole system not to work?

I have searched and it says to listen for clicks? I can hear no clicks on any? Is it the module if i can hear no clicks and is this easy cheap job if so??

Thanks. Will have to somehow get another PS plug with some wire attached and try again.

Why not just solder in a length of wire?? You still have the plug, right? Solder & heatshrink tubing would be the order of the day.

Where its broken off (the wire) at the plug end is virtually in line with the plastic. Nothing to solder to!! 2 wires ok but don't think i'd join the 3rd!
