I've just towed a lady from Newcastle out of a ditch on top of Note-on-the-Gate who was trying to get home. She had no idea at all but was certainly bubbly about it. Got her out (backwards) then got her to drive up the road to park whilst I undid my tow strop which was fast on her towing eye! Her front wheel was bent and the front was pushed in a bit so I suggested she visited a garage in Jed' asap on her way but she said "It's ok - it needs an MOT next week so they'll sort it then!" I explained about possible radiator damage and that she didn't want to get stranded on the A68 over Carter-Bar but I may as well have talked to the banking - it had more idea!!!

Are you sure you want white stuff darn sarff? Doesn't 1" bring the motorways and cities to a grinding halt  Back in a Defender!!

Plenty yesterday when I was in the MG chaos on the A53/A54 and Cat and fiddle not a gritter in sight.
Forecast 4" last night. So off I chugg in the FF. Roads clear and scattering there was thawing fast  Mine was a blue one!

It's dinging doon up here, might get oot to play tomorrow

Some snow flurries here and white higher up but my FF is parked up for the second winter in a row as I don't have the time to fix the bag of c£$p !! Never mind I have my trusty old citroen dispach with a set of chains that can give a ff a run for its money !!
