One by one the musical icons that are just a few years older than me are leaving the scene. Lou Reed, Joe Cocker and now David Bowie, it makes me so sad. Bowie was a musical and marketing miracle. Renewing his music and himself time after time. His last clip is fascinating
Thank god we still have Dylan, Cohen and John Mayall I saw John Mayal recently, performing like a youngster, on his 80 th birthday tour. These men made an era.

Was never a real Bowie fan as it was just before my time, however his influence was extensive in both music and throughout the world. At one point Germany credited him as being instrumental in bringing down the Berlin wall, which is quite a claim to fame.

I have no doubt he will be greatly missed. RIP. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

From sneaking in to a pub in Beckenham to well until Tin Machine I loved it all.

Sad but after all the drugs he managed a ripe old age, and a good life in his later years.

69 is to young for everyone, (wait until you get close) but this kind of musical genius should live forever.
