Erg cleaner wynns

After I stop my engine a hear a squeak squeak for 7 seconds
I think this is the erg valve working
My friends identical car 2007 vogue se tdv8 does not make this noise
Is it worth using a tin of wynns erg cleaner when I next service my car
Anyone done this

Thanks

It wont hurt to put some EGR cleaner through it there's not really any need to wait until the next service.

Buy it from Euro car parts, it's about a quarter of the price Halfords charge!

I'm sure some with deride it as snake oil, but it made a noticeable difference on my Jaguar.

Without looking I think they do one for diesels and one for Petrol engines.

EGR3 is their 'professional' product and the other one is their retail product - the contents are probably the same, it's just one has a more fancy label so they can charge more for it.

I've been told the sound is the cleaning process.

Mine does it and apparently most do...........
