On behalf of my son who is looking to sell his computer (he's just bought another) spec is:27" late 2009 iMac, 2.66 i5 processor, 8gb DDR3 ram, radeon HD 4850 gfx 512mb and a 1tb HDD and he's looking for £250 and it's currently in London. It's mint but the CD drive is being a bit picky on test probably on account of it never being used - new ones don't have a cd drive. Geoff |

I have passed on everything to my son and pointed out to him that there is a queue and the etiquette of this site - don't want to be blackballed by Stan , I do know however that he prefers collection even though he has the box, he is, as i type, setting everything (software) back to original factory spec. I have also told him that I think he is selling it too cheap but he doesn't listen to me and more - never did in fact Geoff |

Apparently software will be Yosemite not El Capitan (the latest which I am struggling with), Geoff |

It is too cheap IMHO, unless the CD drive fault is a symptom of something more serious eg logic board...

Thanks Graham - no absolutely nothing wrong with it apart from the CD drive being fussy he just wants to get rid off it ASAP and prefers someone to come and get it to save him the ball ache of packing it all up.

I think now there are two list forming along the lines of those who can/will collect and those who want it packing and sending. Why do I never have this amount of interest when I sell my RRs or their bits come to that Geoff |
