I've been looking at that myself in Costco, I'm of the same belief as you, if I'm only jacking up a corner of the car , I'm assuming the 2 tonne jack will be fine. I used the RR jack a few months ago and for whatever reason, the scissor jack was fighting going up to the point where the winding handle buckled under the force I had to user. LR replaced the whole jack for me but since then I have been considering that jack as it seems well buold and is great value at £90. I also noticed what appear to be lifting points under the car (4 round metal discs, presumably for use when on ramps in the dealers? Steve
