Merry Christmas with a leaking gearbox

A merry merry Christmas to all of you!

Just had my FF on the ramp this morning (cleaning out the garage) and walked under it, seeing gearbox leak. It was leaking through a plug (see picture attached). Big Cry

Looking online for parts list I can only find a picture number (614) but no part number.
Does anyone know the part number?
Is this plug an easy change or do I need special tools? Rolling Eyes

Any help much appreciated. Going on holiday (2500 km) within 13 days I need to fix this one quick.

Not sure if this will help as it doesn't have the full parts system on it although it does have some diagrams , but here's my local dealers mail order parts system .
Merry Christmas

Is your friend

Then look up parts on www.lrdirect.com for a price comparison. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

thanks for your help Thumbs Up

Looked it up in LRparts and found the number. Meanwhile had also a closer look at the plug and saw that it was fitted somewhat oblique. Took a socket and tapped it straight, cleaned everything, and will take it for a drive later today. So will have a check tomorrow. Fingers crossed! Whistle

Hi all,
Drove about 40 km yesterday; no leaks anymore Thumbs Up Will drive it frequently oncoming days and check regularly.
Checked transmission oil this morning and no need to fill up.
So after a first panic, this seems to work out very easy Razz
