Parking Sensors

The reversing sensors on my 04 FFRR go completely bonkers when it rains , I've only had the car a few weeks . Both front and back senors howl like banshees when ever they see a bit of rain . Shocked

I took it back to the dealers last week , they told me that this is a common problem in the rain and there is nothing they can do about it , and suggest that I wipe the sensors before parking it . Laughing

This doesn't seem very practical - to be running around in Asda's car park cleaning the sensors before reversing it.

Is this a common fault , or am i being strung along ??

Cheers

Mr B

Try waxing up the bumpers.. It'll help prevent water ingress, don't over do it mind! 2010 Disco XS TDV6, 2009 Freelander 2 GS
