My rear LR badge is dark green and my front grill LR badge is black.....

Is that OEM ?  All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

I know my rear one is very dark green - looks almost black - but it's green - I have a black car so you can tell, but you have to look.

Not sure about the front one

I can't remember as I had the oval and Autobiography badges removed from the tailgate. Front badge is black though.

They switched to green front and rear from black front and rear for MY14 or 14.5 I recall.

So it would be ok for my 03.2013 car ?  All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

No they should match. However, I seem to remember the early ones didn't have an LR oval on the rear at all so maybe someone just added a green one to yours at a later date.

Perhaps you could have your lettering sprayed green

My 13 SDV8 had black front and rear, then I bought a new take off black pack front grille so it now has black rear and green front.

I hate the green, very Land Rover and not in keeping with the new age look of the FFRR. I hate the way the green oval comes on the dash display when the radio is turned off too, should have said Range Rover in silver against the black background

I dislike the townie direction of "new" Land Rover. Green all the way.

On my 2014 L405 I have the black badge on the front and green badge on the rear.

Strange thing is my previous 2012 RRS apart from a black LR badge on the front grille, it had no LR logo or badging anywhere on the exterior or interior. Instead it had plenty of Range Rover branding in its place.

Not sure whether this is true or not but from what I read on the RRSPORT forum, LR had intended to create Range Rover & Land Rover as two separate brands, but then later binned the idea for some reason and have now gone back to LR branding / badging on the RR's. 2014 SDV8 Autobiography

You are right. I recall being in the local MD when they were changing the signage and the dealer principal was shaking his head saying "I give it 9 months before they realise that the LR brand is the glue that keeps people with them as they trade up or down". And so it came to pass, although there still seems to be confusion about when a black or green badge should be fitted.

I thought black badges only went on SC cars originally [maybe influenced by the Overfinch badges in the 80's].
