Another cut back then. I always thought that was a good feature to lower the car at around 70mph i miss not having that on my sport.

The MY07-MY12 L322 only lowered at 100 mph / 160 kph (same as D3/D4/old RRS) so of not much use and of no use in this part of the world, but great on smooth roads when selected at lower speeds using an after-market system.

The L405 is already a fair bit lower than the L322 at normal height so there is no need I guess.

My handbook says of page 142 "The system may raise or lower the vehicle automatically (eg.....................or if the vehicle is travelling at high speed)" So I think the answer must be yes, it does but not sure what speed it does it.

Strangely I cannot find any reference to high-speed height in any of the L405 and L494 documents that I have that describe the operation of the air suspension system, yet the details of all other other height modes are given.

So XXX does your car lower a little on the autobahn ?
On the l322 models there was a suspension light on the center consil that had a motorway light to show car had lowered.
I think it dropped at around 70 mph.
I think because they are a tall vehicle and they sit quite high it just felt more secure and a good idea to drop the car a little at higher speeds, clever.
