Have a look at eBay item eBay Item No. 331013388547. The company refurbishes turbos to a very high standard, there's a video of the factory somewhere. They are in Latvia (from memory) but are very efficient. They will require your old turbo back so expect to pay a deposit too. Two points to note:

1) I thought the first turbo I purchased was faulty (actuator sticking) they replaced it without question and were very very helpful. It turns out that the turbo was fine and the fault was elsewhere.

2) I have ran one of these refurbished units for 20k with no issues.

Fitting is a very easy job, ignore the workshop manual. You can easily swap the turbo from underneath the car, make sure you change the gasket at the same time. If you can't get a perfect air tight seal still then use a Motorsport turbo assembly paste instead.

Cheers SteveyD,

I removed the turbo in an hour.
Air box cover off, three blanking plugs in the airbox cover giving access to the top turbo bolts, a few hoses and connections and dropped the whole of the exhaust to allow the turbo to come out from underneath the car, easy Smile

+ 1 for Dan, Thumbs Up He supplied the turbo for my TD6 all the way to Oz

I would be very wary of refurbished turbos the variable vain technology is very hard to set up.

I could be wrong but that's what I found out when the TD6 turbo failed
