Dan, just to let you know, I fitted these parts yesterday and all seems well. One thing that I noticed was that the angle of the slot on the new bracket is different. This doesn't seem to make any difference, except that when its all put back together, it doesn't sit on the mark I made on the connecting rod to show where the old one sat.

Those were my thoughts Stan, rather than it being the wrong part. It certainly makes the gear selection much smoother and it doesn't jump out of drive any more. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue

i would have thought the change in angle is a mod done by LR, part number has changed from the original one which sometimes stipulates a modification of part. You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts
