Hi,

It's two weeks since we collected the car from Norwich, we have been busy. An Inspection 2 Service at Duckworth's last weekend revealed nothing of note other than the car will need new front discs and pads in the next 3,000 miles. I had a new battery fitted while the car was serviced, more of a precautionary measure than a necessity. I was seeing a message on the Sat-Nav screen saying 'Low Battery - Shutting Down' after about 15 minutes of remotely starting the Park Heating. My assumption was the battery was 'tired' but still functioning, replacement seemed the sensible choice.

This week the car has been at my detailers for 3 days. A change of lettering colour, and a matching boot strip, from grey to gloss black add a balance the the exterior. The results are worth every single penny, as the photographs show, I hope you agree?

A white one was high on my wishlist as well as they do look very good in white. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Thanks for all your positive comments folks. I knew that underneath all the grime there was quite a good FFRR. Time and patience, and a stroke of luck that the notorious FFRR fault fairy was looking the other way the day we bought the Big White Monster, fingers crossed she keeps her gaze away for a while.

Very Sessy...but I am partial to whilte I prefer the titan silver letters as it really gives it a new look. Very nice FF!


I really like this style grille and thinking about it for my 08...just trying to convince myself if it will look right with the 08 headlights and front bumper. I think the straight line cut around the mesh on yours is what makes it...on the one for my year it still has the round cutouts around the lights which I'm trying to eliminate. Well I love the look of the Black and White RiDDO Show Nice (and very clean!) car.
The plates make the car stand out without being illegal, makes my Buckingham Blue car kind of blend into the background
My brakes are also going to need discs and pads soon...and those Brembos are not cheap....much like a Full Fat as you say
