Latest Navigation DVD - 2007 Model

How do I find out what year my navigation DVD was produced is and does anybody know if there is a 2013/2014 DVD available for a 2007 RR? I've found one that covers Western Europe up to 2011/2012.

Thanks.

The year is normally on the label on the disc. 2011/12 is the last official dvd from LR. There is a number of posts on the subject. It's known as customer support LR style. Wink John

The official Land Rover (Navteq/Here Maps - LR's supplier) is at the following link, The link is in your handbook anyway;

http://landrover.navigation.com/home/en_GB/LandRoverEMEA/EUR

It's £169 for a western europe disc.

Be aware there is an ebay seller who claims to sell "used" genuine discs, but they are just fakes. They do work, but if you choose to order one, when the fake CDR copy turns up ensure you report it to ebay as a fake so you get your refund...... Anyone that claims to have a "new 2015" disc is selling either a pirate 2012 disc with a new label on it or it's incompatible, as 2012 is the latest available.

to clarify, the latest official disc for the 2005-09 MY denso units is the 2011/12 from LR..

there is a hybrid pirated disc which has subaru 2014 maps integrated into the LR firmware..the disc works perfectly and obviously has the newer roads on it..

because of the forum rules , no mention of the company/s or links can be posted.. ... - .- -.

I'm one for keeping things totally original and OEM where possible, despite the fact there may be advantages to be had elsewhere. Last thing I want to do is fry the sat nav, I've only had it a week.

Thats not what i got from LR HQ when i was pushing them to buy the rights off them to go to Here/Den to get a batch made up off my own back. Denon said they had some small tweaks they could put in a new firmware and Here said it was trivial for them to get the new maps in but unless JLR allowed it their hands were tied.

JLR came back to me and said they would look into it but I've had nothing further since ive been chasing them including the execs office.

For a while i thought maybe they are changing tact and thinking if another company could get the rights off them there must be money in it, but no, just typical JLR experience for me of no-one getting back to me with a straight answer or a rough price Sad FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
