Sorry FBH again SOLVED

As above, 2007 TDV8 Vogue, searched until my eyes are bleeding but no conclusive answer, my build sheet says auxiliary Heater, Park Heating With Remote Control fitted (I have no remote) it has been enabled in two places in CCF menu with IID tool, menu is on screen and can be set with timer buttons, light comes on to confirm and stays on for two minutes when key is removed, when time arrives to start, light goes out and nothing happens, when turning on manually from touch screen light flashes on once or twice but nothing else happens, on odd occasions fans start running but go off after ten seconds ish, not too sure where i go from here but cold weather coming and would be nice to be getting into toasty warm car in mornings, anyone with any ideas of what to check next ? nothing forthcoming and then after lots of googling and reading ------- Found this on GAP site

For Range Rover 2005-2009
IIDTool Menu->Car Config->ATC Heat Cool->
Aux Heater is equal to Yes
Park Heater is equal to Yes

IIDTool Menu->Car Config->ACM Audio Control Module->
Park Heater is equal to Yes
Auxiliary heater is equal to Yes

Great but still heater no worky, then i found this
......trying to enable park heat, done it in 2 places, and from reading this thread, need to do an instrument cluster reset

Did cluster reset with IIDTool and lo & behold park heating now working Thumbs Up just ordered remote from bay of e to complete job, this may help someone else who is struggling to get it working,I found loads of links saying how to enable but none mentioned cluster reset

I have the same year RR as you, I never got a heater remote with mine and was under the impression that it was only available on the later model.

can I buy one and be remote? how do I find out if mine is a remotely controlled unit?

Have a look here
http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic27290.html?highlight=t91
for remote to work you need the box as shown, do you have timed heating & cooling on screen and if so will heater start manually ?

Remotes have been an option from day one.

Even if yours doesn't have the remote receiver fitted you can add the receiver for not very much money too.

Have a search on the forum, you'll find pictures of the receiver unit in the boot, you can visually check if you have it. Most vogues should do. If it's not displayed on the central dash as timed climate, then you'll have to get it enabled with an IID tool, as some diesels only have it configured as 'auxiliary heating'.

thanks Rob , much appreciated. I bought this car with stuff missing like the venture cam, now the remote, wouldn't you think the previous owner would sort those out as its a great feature for the vehicle.

Is it possible the LR could have the unit fitted but not enabled, I don't want to buy the remote and find out it was never an option . I cant see any t90 remotes on ebay at the moment

people keep things like remotes etc to sell on separately to make a few quid more.

The T90 is the older remote, you can use the much smaller T91 remote, which works the same, it's just much smaller.

They're a lot more expensive from Land-Rover. You can get cheaper ones with Audi, VW logos etc, they're all the same. Webasto supply a lot of marques

This is where i got mine from

If you bring up your home menu in car and push timed climate (bottom right hand corner of screen) you should be able to start heater manually & by using timer, if all this is working you only need the remote

Even if it doesn't work you still only need the remote, but you'll need someone with an IID tool to activate park heating on your car.
