Sorry to be very OT, but if anyone has any recommendations for a good IFA (independent financial adviser) who can help me with investment and wealth planning (not much at all right now but want to get started so I can afford a new FFRR one day), would greatly appreciate this.

I've seen unbiased.co.uk and vouchedfor websites but thought a personal recommendation may be better?

I am an IFA, have been for many years. if you are back in the UK, I can recommend someone local , I always prefer face to face for all work, unless you are in Scotland. If you are still abroad , then advice technically cannot be given whilst you are on foreign soil from a UK authorised adviser. Although this does depend on your work circumstances and domicile status. Happy to give guidance any way I can , but it would be purely that, PM preferable .

Thank you very much for getting back to me. I've recently relocated back to London and live and work there permanently but appreciate your concern and guidance on relevant rules.
