Hello. New Member with 2010 Autobiography.

Hello. I'm new here, and like most, have been visiting for a while before joining. I am the proud new owner of a 2010 Autobiography. I love it already.

I am making a list on things that need to be done, to keep this truck in tip top shape for a long time. I feel the new cars aren't as nice as these (L322) Maybe it's just my belief that Trucks should be fairly square. If anyone has any advice for me,I'd surely appreciate it. I checked everything I could before buying it, and besides two of the surround cameras being blue, and the motor being a little loud, all else seems fine. Going to do a full service and detail after the holidays and compare the motor to some other supercharged trucks in my area.

I am stumped by something with this truck. The color is beautiful. I just don't know what color it is. Rolling with laughter It says Autobiography Black, but the color code is for China Black. Anyone know if those two colors are the same? My truck has two paint codes.

Anyway, thanks for having a great forum. I am finding myself on here way too much.

I'm guessing it says autobiography black on the tailgate badge? Which is the black edition of the autobiography model, not the colour. The colour code should be on the plate under the bonnet.

I took a few pictures when I brought it home, but I'm out of town right now. It really needs a good cleanup.







As per the color, I checked the VIN and it shows both colors.
Autobiography Black Pearl and China Black
That's why I'm wondering if these two colors are the same.
This is the formula for 838, I'm trying to get my hands on the code for 664.

It's a special paint colour.

It isn't an Autobiography Black derivative. These were 11MY and exclusively in Barolo Black.

Thanks. I looked for sometime, before settling on this truck. It has a very special feel to it.
I can't wait to treat the leather and get it detailed.
I hope to post some pictures that show the actual color, once it's all cleaned up.

I had the *loud* motor on my Ex L322 5.0 SC - it is nothing to worry about - there is an update to make at the dealer (but it is expensive - lots of work to do) - please don't call it a *truck* Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry Wink All my spelling errorz are belong to me!
