United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Carpathian Grey
Test drove a l405 today.

I had a 65 plate demo for a couple of hours today ,I knew financially it would be better if I didn't like it . As soon as I got out of it I was able to drive the new sport to compare the two . Well as some of you know , there is no comparison on the comfort and drive quality and I am well and truly hooked on the L405 .

I know exactly what you mean the new Sport is very nice and I also had one for 24 hours, however the L405 is in a league of its own. Best vehicle I’ve owned, sign on the dotted line and enjoy the pleasure of driving it Thumbs Up

That's exactly the right attitude. I mulled the prospect over for weeks to try and somehow justify £100 K + on a FFRR but now it's done I wouldn't be without it. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

I think my first house was £19k - Some of our vans cost more than that now Big Cry

As for the FFRR it was twice the price of our most expensive van, so it that respect good value for money, although the van allows us to earn money and the FFRR is pure vanity Whistle Paul

My first house purchase which I still live in was £15k in 1981 and RRover was £103k last month. The world really has gone mad. Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

Are you thinking 3.0 or 4.4?

The residuals are not that different and if the (media) backlash to large diesels continues is the 3.0 going to be easier to move on in 3-4 years?

I am looking at 2-3 year old cars and not much in it between the v6 and v8's.

I usually say f e c k it but must be getting old now..,
