France 2006 Range Rover Vogue Td6 Java Black
Bentley 4x4 thingy

I was in Crewe today so popped into the Bentley showroom to have a look at the Bentaygathingy that was on display.

I take back the insults I heaped upon it. All I have to say is that it is a very nice car indeed. I'll never be able to afford one but those of you who can afford the top of the range Supercharged Autobiography Range Rover's will no longer have to worry about your ownership experience being tainted by the Chessex set. They will definitely buy the Bentley. It has 'new money' and 'Premiership' all over it.
Bentley will make a lot of money with this model.

United Kingdom 2014 Range Rover Vogue TDV6 Aintree Green

Pistonheads is carrying a write up of this today after a test drive:

The options price list is stratospheric. It does not compete with a RR I think....Does not fill me with want (at all). Norman

It will be a big success, but they look terrible - proportions are awful. The rear three-quarter view is the only one where it doesn't look like it's somebody's home-made replica.

Ok, I'm away to play with the configurator whilst having afternoon coffee break, lets see how expensive it gets!

2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

I saw it in Holland on GB plates some months back and wasn't sure. I've now seen it in the flesh and whilst it's very 'Cheshire' I actually think it's turned out much better than people predicted. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........

Is this not a Q7 with a different body, better leather etc. or even a Toruraeg or whatever they call it.
In the same way a Bentley Continental is a Phaeton underneath.

We had a few cars from the VAG group and they all seem to use the same underpinnings through all brands. Great from a cost point of view but spending Audi and Bentley money to get a VW with better leather etc isn't great.

Suppose the same story with the RRS1 as it was a D3/4 with a different body.

also just noticed it says 21mpg. I can't believe that is true until properly tested by an independent

They look a lot better in the flesh that in the photos imo.

I saw one at a Bentley dealer and it was nice. Expensive but nice!

Too rich for me I think but my god it's ugly on the outside. I know that lots of people want their SUVs low slung, lightning quick and uncomfortably hard but I prefer something tall, comfortable and stately. I'll forgive mine a bit wallowy any day, rather than shrinking the height for the sake of handling. Thumbs Up

Just sat down and looked at the Pistonheads article...

Turbo chargers welded to the exhaust manifolds Shocked I hope they don't start failing in a few years time!

90 ECU's Shocked Sounds like it might give the RR's a run for their money on electrical faults Laughing
