Just can't see it? Can switch it on when in the car but when doors are open interior lights don't come on. Perhaps not standard on Vogue ??

3. Front courtesy lamp: Touch the centre of
the sensor lens briefly to switch on/off. To
switch automatic illumination on or off, hold
your finger on the lens until the lamp
flashes.
Note: To complete the operation, move your
finger at least 20 mm (0.8 inches) from the
lens.
In Auto mode, the lamps will illuminate
when a door is opened.

I'm guessing that you don't have one -

Google 'land rover topix', that will take you to the JLR web site. You can log in as a 'casual' user, enter your car type and year, and will then be able to access (and print) a copy of your owners manual.

There is a lot of other stuff on here as well, but you need to set up a log-in as an 'independent operator' to get to it, and a lot of things require you to take out a paid subscription
