I have the same issue in my 2009, i have the heated and cooling seats. The cooling works but the heating doesnt. This is on the drivers side. Land rover say I need a new heater blower, £250, and 2 hours labour. If yours is the same as mine, if you look under the seat you should see a circular filter type thing, that is part of the mechanism. I managed to buy a part on ebay from the USA for around £120, but.... I ordered the wrong side! I got the passenger side part! Haha. So thats going back on ebay. |

Bambou mine is the same , there are two Peltier cell in each seat how did you find which one was duff ? 2008 MY Supercharged

thanks for that land rover told me i need a new module which i got but cant find were the old on is they dont know either what happens is that the motor under the seat comes on for about 3 mins then goes off I have a jag with the same system and that was the module (with this the jag main dealer could not fix it either) the passenger one and rear work fine and dandy so it would appear there is no ecu controlling it then on ward and upward steve |

There are four stand alone units in your car sir... Two in each seat (one in the rear and one in the base)

really thanks for that but i can find the heater motors no issue but try as i might cannot find the module that controls them !! with my jag XJL module controls two seats on each unit back of the seat seat heater and base seat heater on both sides as the one from land rover picture enclosed (in gallery) looks the same i assumed that one unit would run two seats ie passenger and driver in this case as it has one mains in for what of a better word and then one out to each seat the plot thickens eh unless of course land rover have sold me a part i did not need as i asked for the seat module for heated and cool seats on a rr s/c 2007 !! the dealer maintains its the right part having been back 3 times now but the service department say they dont know where the uni is lcoated and try as i may i cannot find out strange |

Ahh, control module is below the drivers (UK) seat... Again remove the seat (easy) lift the carpet and you will see the control unit sir |

you are this weeks hero for me thanks.....wow that's made my day never thought it would be under the carpet silly me the main stealer thought it was in the dash then in the centre console three hours could not find it.....and one said it was the A pillar......one even said why don't you a buy one car sir... . |

Is it really that easy to remove a seat? Is there a guide somewhere? I wouldnt know where to start. I am not afraid of giving it a go, but would like some idea what I am doing. |

module is fine however its the fan anyone know were to get one from as the main stealer has priced so they don't sell any again !! (they must have huge amount of spares they dont want to sell) its part number HHL500200 new part number is LR014533 |

Hi, apologies for hijacking this thread but I am trying to resolve the same problems, please can someone explain how to remove the map pocket and seat back as I am struggling to see how and cannot find a guide anywhere.
