I noticed on the rear offside passenger door that the lacquer was peeling at the point where it meets the wheelarch. On closer inspection, there appears to be a masking line down the door where it's overlapped by the front drivers door, suggesting it's been repainted This morning, when I looked closely at the drivers door, there is a tiny spec of overspray on the rubber seal around the handle

I think it's because it's our new car and I'm focussing too much on it. My irrational obsession with perfection doesn't help either!

I remember having a BMW repaired once as it was hit by another driver. I took it to the local BMW dealers, who had their own on-site bodyshop with BMW approved facilities like you'd expect. The guy in the bodyshop reception told me that they very often repair brand new BMW's that have been damaged on the transporter. Worse still, they don't even have to tell the customer that his new pride and joy has been repaired! |

have heard the same from a friend who was a salesman @ a LR Dealership. Quite a few cars delivered damaged and also the wrong spec, such as (you'll not believe this but apparently true) panels being different colours! Discovery 4 HSE
