Yes it is a Bobtail, had been hacked about well before my ownership (I paid £100 for it about 10 years ago) so I Bobtailed it, built the roll cage , 2 inch body lift, fabricated the bumpers and sliders, 3 inch suspension lift and fitted a disco 200tdi and gearbox. That was as far as I got though (about 5 years ago)Once I finish the Bedford this is my next project. Picture of it here
The Bedford is a baby 220 non turbo. I currently have the chassis stripped and ready to go to the shotblasters. The engine has been bored, head skimmed and I am now cleaning up all the parts ready to rebuild and fit back to the chassis...then onto the cab rust! These two projects keep getting delayed by servicing/fixing all the various vehicles we have on the road. If they stop breaking down (FFRR included bloody thing killed it's alternator this week) then I might get one project finished!
