Is replacing it and selling your kerbed wheel not an option? Well, it is a £100k+ car after all sir |

The spare is in fact a space saver wheel. Land Rover are quoting £1000 per wheel which is extortionate. The ebay link you've supplied looks like the same wheel but it says polished. This is the darker grey faced wheel.

I had my wheels done as well and had to have them redone as the colour didn't match. Best is to give at least two wheels so they can colour match. If you need the car, your dealer could lend you some wheels while yours are being repaired. My friendly dealer did. |

Not fit for purpose!!!!!!! LR have produced a two tone painted wheel that they cannot repair themselves and wheel repair shops won't touch!!! It is not an option to "replace" a £1000 wheel every time it gets a scratch, I had so much trouble that in the end just had all 4 painted gloss black by my local LR dealer. |

I have the same problem with the L405 21 inch wheels I've put on my L322. I've kerbed one wheel very slightly but even the local specialist has told me it's almost impossible to match. They told me that both LR and Jaguar are now producing wheels which make repair to the original finish and colour nigh on impossible. The two tone finish appears to be the main issue. This is the same specialist that all the local prestige dealerships use for wheel repairs.

It is definitely not impossible to match but not every wheel repair shop can refurbish a diamond turned alloy wheel as they will need special machinery to do this. I had my Style 7 22's done by a specialist as my local Land Rover dealer said they couldn't match the original two-tone finish and suggested to have them repainted silver. Since I had mine done, my dealer uses the company I work with. Just Google "diamond turned wheel refurbishment" and I'm sure you'll find one near you. |

Diamond turned can be done but these are not diamond turned they are painted in two colours which means having to mask off the black and then paint the grey which is very difficult to do properly without a jig which is how they are done at LR!!! |

Don't know about the 21's but the 22 Style 7 wheels are definitely diamond turned. |

There are 2 flavours of the 22" turbine wheel - there's the diamond turned one and there is also a darker version that is completely painted |

Yes, the all painted ones are the problem not the diamond turned ones. Not thought through properly or......are hoping to sell more wheels to replace scratched ones |
