Replacing hitachi compressor with amk

I'm changing my compressor as its broken, the one I have is a new amk compressor

The mechanic who is fitting it has told me that the pipe doesn't fit in the end. Is there new connectors or pipes required?

Thanks

Land Rover changed the compressor from the roundish shape one to a rectangle shape one around the facelift time and I believe you cannot interswap the units make sure he's ordered the correct one for you

As above, i had this problem as mine is a 2005 and has the later 'square' compressor. I ordered a round one by mistake but luckily they exchanged it for the correct one.
