Sounds like Stratstone pricing. They (apparently) survey the market every day and pitch their cars at the bottom of the available pool. Graham

Yes, they are, that's the point. If Stan's car has increased, and it's Stratstones, it's because the market has gone up overall. Graham

I bought from there in August. Luckily mine went down by 500 in the 2 weeks that I was talking to them. Last edited by Coastal on 1st Dec 2015 7:36am. Edited 1 time in total |

5.0 or a 4.4 Stan? Or is that a daft question..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Stratstones have to price theirs at the cheapest available for a very good reason....

Before I bought mine, I just watched them on Pistonheads Used Cars section, great way to get an overall idea of the going rate of RRs around the country as most of the main dealers are on there (except Williams). I watched the prices -low to high - for around 2yrs whilst deciding whether to by an L405 or not. Using the site, I eventually noticed a competitively priced car at Guy Salmon in Stockport and subsequently bought it. However, I didn't realise at the time , I had originally looked at the same car about month before at Guy S. in Knutsford (it had a private reg on then) where it was just under £8k more than I paid!! I can only assume they were chancing their arm due to the location or something due to it being near to some of the millionaires paradises in the country. Steve
