Booze run

Hi all,
I am thinking of popping to France next week for the 6 monthly wine run.
How many bottles of wine can I comfortably fit in my lovely 2015 Range Rover 4.4SDV8 Autobiography?
It will be just me driving.
Any input would be gratefully received...hic Smile

Quite a lot - I came back at the weekend with 10 x 10 Litre boxes plus 60 bottles of assorted wine

All on the floor - no stacking - could have got more in if I went higher Whistle

Not sure how useful this is given the differences in dimensions, but: I've got a L322 (MY11) and wife and I have been driving to Burgundy in France in it on average twice a year. So I am used to squeezing wine in.

Even with all our suitcases (I'm always amazed how many pieces of clothing my wife needs to take for 3-5 nights) we've still easily got in over 240 bottles - between the boot area, back seat and floor behind the front seats.

I reckon you could easy do over 300 bottles if you had very little other luiggage. MY2011 TDV8 Vogue - GONE

I use Majestic at Coquelles.
Pre-order and get £10 off every £150 spent.
Very helpful staff.
Control is a fan of Sauvignon Blanc.
Can get a South African one at £2.79 a bottle.
Very helpful staff too.
You can, of course, buy a few bottles in UK to try first so no nasty surprises.

Yup, but you don't then get the discount of £10 per £150 spent.
If you need a lot of wine and it's a day trip, it's better to pay for the tunnel and take the discount.

Not at Calais Wine: my favourite tipple is Yellow Tail Shiraz which is 7.99 (£6 cheapest offer in UK) and Calais Wine do it at £4.99 currently further discounted to £3.99 and they pay the Chunnel.... Thumbs Up
