Couple of faults came up when I plugged in new IID tool..

I got my new IID tool a couple of days ago (Thanks Dan)and have been having a play with it. A couple of faults have come up, can anyone please tell me how I can fix the issues. Thanks

PCM-Engine TD6

• P0380-80 Glow plug relay failure - glow relay defective

• P0646-08 Air conditioning control relay malfunction - open circuit/short circuit to ground - General failure information - bus signal/message failure

first of all clear these faults and then check in a few days...these faults could be historic ... ... - .- -.

I have always had the glow plug relay failure on mine, never made any difference from what I could tell. Might be due to one of the glow plugs not working. Don't recommend replacing glow plugs though, based upon bitter experience!

The air con one will probably go away. .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Wink

Hi, sorry should have said I cleared all the previous faults (a very long list) and after a run out just these two faults reappeared. The car always seems to start no problem but wondered if it was the actual relay itself at fault for the glow plugs?
