They keep the kids cool in the rear and make it hard for people to see in Land Rover Addict

I'm considering them but not sure on it looking a bit van like without even a mild tint on the front. I wonder if there's anyone who does a fade . Just legal limit on the front and fading to dark on the rear e quarter Apologies if i've posted this on my phone and it contains strange spelling and punctuation.. i just can't be bothered to correct it |

Tints are for drug dealers! It doesn't give a good impression of yourself, it's like you've got something to hide. No class! |

I agree with this statement although I wouldn't go as far as saying "no class".... I ordered the new tdv8 4.4 and have time to make some changes until end of December! Currently have black with sand interior and no tints, the new one is ordered in same specs but still deciding on tints or not JJ |

I find this typically ignorant comment a little irritating, as you have expressed your opinion, (and you are welcome to do so...) it is somewhat narrow minded. I have owned Range Rovers with, and without, tinted windows - personally, I think tinted windows are very useful on a car such as this. Having 2 young children (and no, they are not hideously ugly) it is more comfortable for them to sit inside the car without having to squint when ever there might be bright sunshine because of the large expanse of glass - or struggle to see the screens when they choose to watch their dvds. I couldn't give a toss what wrong impression a stranger may have formed because the windows on my car maybe darker than his. If the nosey might struggle to see inside my car, only to prove to themselves that I have nothing to hide, that is their problem - not mine. I don't just shut the rear parcel shelf because there might be a headless corpse under it or keep the glove box closed so as the handgun that I might have isn't seen - I don't go past a house that has the curtains drawn and instantly think - I'm gonna call 999 'cause heaven only knows whats going on behind them - people are entitled to their privacy - why should it be any different with cars with tinted windows However, I think most of us on here have suggested the Sport owners / drivers are potential dealers of the illegals - but I hope this is only considered good natured teasing amongst one another - just as they might suggest we all wear tweed and crash around shooting any wildlife that might get in front of our double barrels - it isn't really that important - I doubt none of us spend the money we do on our cars and not have it as we like it. If you don't like tinted windows - don't have them - I couldn't care less really - but to stereotype and insult those of us that do have them is a little foolish. |
