Yeah seen that this morning .....

A thoroughly nice bloke, often seen trying to stop and chat to other motorists along the M62. Even in the middle lane.
People misunderstand his keenness to engage in colourful conversation whilst on the move Laughing Laughing

Maybe if he was to lose his licence, job, lifestyle, family he would reflect on what a stupid, dumb**s stunt this is. No consideration for all the other road users who he affected. Perhaps a call to his company and a piont to this link would be a way of getting this moron off the road. Censored Censored Censored

Just looked for their website.. Account suspended - says it all really. Lowlife.

Absolutely appalling.
He should have his licence taken off him & fined heavily.
To do that on a Motorway.......Could have caused a multiple pile up,& perhaps even killed someone.

Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

I very nearly greasy smeared one bell end on the the off slip on the north end of the Erskine Bridge , he had been carving up traffic all the way from Glasgow screaming and shouting at people to get out of his way and had gone past me on the bridge . So I come round the corner at 60-70 and there he is out of his car about to lay into the doors and windows of some poor sod but standing right in the middle of the road , missed him by a ball hair .
Dred to think what would have happened if i had collected him up , and like that bloke on the M62 why is always the one driving like an arse that thinks everyone else is to blame ? 2008 MY Supercharged

Interesting that the company website is down

and the vehicle is insured

but no MOT at the time of the incident Shocked

Which would render the insurance null & void on 12th October Shocked Shocked Shocked

Update...It looks like it was MOT'd today so he's back on the road...be careful out there on the M62 Whistle

If i was plod i'd be asking that MOT station if they want to revise their MOT status of the vehicle before asking VOSA to have a look at it while its been seized and held for driving without insurance... Though how do we know it was even insured(mot regardless) at the time.... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Boss of Salford firm at centre of M62 road rage row caught on camera says he has fired the driver

The boss of a company at the centre of a road rage row caught on CCTV says he has fired the van driver seen in the footage.

The manager of APC Lofts in Salford, who did not want to be named for fears over his safety, said he was ‘appalled’ at the driving of one of his former joiners on the M62.

He said the joiner has since been fired after being caught on camera by a lorry driver between junctions 17 and 18 of the M62 at around 12.50pm on Monday, October 12.

Since the footage has appeared online the company has been bombarded with phone calls and emails - and its website appears to have crashed. But the horrified manager said. he was appalled by the contents of the video.

He said: “It wasn’t me driving, it was one of my lads. His excuse was the lorry driver wouldn’t let him onto the motorway and he felt threatened.

“He said he was intimidated by the lorry driver who forced him onto the hard shoulder at one point.

“He felt his life was in danger and the lorry kept trying to swerve into him.

“It is no excuse and now he’s got no job just two months until Christmas. I’m appalled.”

The 43-year-old APC boss, who says his firm has been trading for more than 20 years, also told how he’s been receiving threats since the video was posted on YouTube.

In the shocking footage the van driver can be seen overtaking and cutting across the lorry on the M62 with just inches between the two vehicles.

When the lorry driver overtakes, the van driver is seen undertaking him from the inside lane at close range.

The van then brakes hard in front of the lorry forcing the wagon to come to a standstill on the central lane of the motorway.

The footage also shows the van driver gesticulating and sticking his head out of the window of his vehicle while shouting at the lorry driver. Current Cars

What worried me after watching it was what the rest of the motorway traffic was doing behind the camera truck!

When an artic stops in the middle of a motorway, where else can you go?

I dread to think what was going on behind!
