2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zermatt Silver

Bow down I love the garage if you can call it that more like a house for the cars

I could not get planning to make mine a double width garage only length, if i thought about it to much i would go mad Rolling Eyes does serve a purpose to protect both vehicles but if i wanted to polish or vac it i have to take them out the garage... Censored

I was told by my architect that when I submitted the plans they would possibly be rejected because the garage was too large, so I did expect the worst. In all honesty I would have been happy with a double garage but was delighted when my plans were approved for a triple garage.

The neighbours were all sent the relevant information of the intended build and there were no objections, until the build started and they saw the size of the garage, but by this point in time it was too late for them to object.

21 months it took from start to finish, I did everything myself except the block work and the roughcasting, it was a massive learning curve for me and many sleepless nights but well worth all the effort.

Now if I had known that the planning process was going to be so easy I would have made it a 4 or possibly 5 car garage as the extra cost would have only been a couple of thousand pounds.

My small garage is a double length garage, not practical as a double as it means moving one vehicle to get access to the other. I use the back of this garage as a workshop in which I keep my lathe, grinder, pillar drill etc allowing me to keep the big garage relatively clutter free
