United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Atacama Sand

Just renewed my insurance today. male/48/7yrs no claims/6 points/Bristol post-code/2002 HSE.

Did all the usual comparison sites about 3 weeks ago but was getting nothing under £370-£1450. e-car were my original insurer and were coming up best again (although their original renewal was up £100 on last year) ..... but then did it all again last night and guess what?

got it down to £260!! (swiftcover) Used beatthatquote then removed the legal cover, courtesy car (I have my own) and all the other garbage and got £28 cashback into the bargain. As I got AA cover for £7 (using cashback again) I have all i need. So it's def worth hunting over a period of 3-4 weeks as things do change.

Off to blow £100 now on beer for Dan_UK_1984 visit!! Laughing Thumbs Up

My premium was £800 last year Jan, Direct Line are now quoting £1500 odd. After I called them up, they reduced it to around £1200. I've been driving over 20yrs and have never claimed! They reckon all premiums have gone up around 80%.........doesn't sound like it from whats been posted here!! can anyone else comment.

cheapest quote so far is with AXA at £981.......London postcode

Premiums have apparently gone up by about 20% across the board in the UK.
80% is absolute nonsense. Find another insurer.

Just had my renewal through and I'm fairly happy with Churchill for £276 (plus NCB protection and legal fees if you want those) but they do insist on Tracker (already fitted).
