Went trialling on Saturday. Thumbs Up

It was a lot of fun and the TDV8 does go well off road. Just mind the trees. Wink

Wheelspin. The car was using the electrics to pull it up a slope (that was worse than it looks, on freshly churned up leaves and loose soil. Having used it offroad I have a new respect for how capable it is on road tyres.

This was in Essex. Mild and hairy, but I avoided the worse bits as it's my daily driver and bending a sill or bashing a tree can make it an expensive day... and would have killed the fun.

I drove 7 of the 8 sections set, as one was damaging due to trees, twigs, bushes and lots of sharp thorns. It was a bit too overgrown for people who like nice paintwork.

Good fun, but they are not set up for FFRR as they don't usually have any turn up. With the size of the FFRR they can be a bit tight. You need to watch for trees etc... If they were set for a FFRR they'd be too easy for the smaller LRs.

Overall it's a good day out, but you need to accept that you'll never be competing for 1st place. Laughing
The smaller cars with drivers that don't mind scratches will beat you.

For £15 you can't go wrong! Thumbs Up

Another one, with a nice sun effect through the trees.
Someone at work said it looked photoshopped, that my car had been added as it's too clean. Laughing

Great pictures Fox - Thank you for flying the 'off-road' flag for the rest of us L322 owners who rarely get, or rather want, to leave the tarmac.

Having the opportunity to go off-roading really makes you understand what these fantastic vehicles are capable of over and above any other luxury car and you can begin to appreciate how this makes them tremendous value for money by comparison.
Thumbs Up

I agree, but the money is being used for other things to give an income in the future.
So we are staying put and I'll have to console myself with the drivers door still being under the carport. Smile

A builder wanted 48k for a bigger garage and carport extension! Shocked

You are mad.
Ok maybe not, nice pics!
48k for a bigger garage and car port YIKES
I built a 49 sq metre garage with an upstairs room for £18k in 2006.
The 5m wide all ectric garage door swallowed up £1600 of that budget.
I had help from a paid brickie to do the walls, the sparky to wire it up and the rest down to my mate, his son and me slogging our guts out at night for a couple of months.
Its the business and has a 2.3m high entrance, overkill for a 4X4.

Very nice Interior colour, Personally my favourite combo. Mine has a grey Interior which I really aren't sure on. But then I suppose It will hide dirt a little more with having 2 kids and dogs.

I was very lucky that there was a spectator with a good quality (expensive looking with a big lens) digital camera there. Thumbs Up
