I have just sold a Hobby caravan for the same reason kept getting refused on sites. Apart from travellers there is a problem of the door being on the opposite side so when you put an awning up you are facing the awning on an English vans awning and sites are not geared up for this with fire regs,

On holiday this year in Somerset I saw a black Chrysler 300 windows blacked out towing a caravan painted black with windows blacked. It looked like Batman was on holiday, seems the guy owned a body shop, paintwork on both was stunning but I had to laugh when some kids had a football and he stood guard. Not my idea of a holiday !
