Something into the 3.5mm jack or the genuine Land Rover kits are about the only way.

Thanks Nmj. I was looking for something more like a splitter for the existing Aux that I could run up under the cup holder

I had a 3.5mm and old style iPod connector/splitter in my 3.6 and this worked fine, though for newer iPods and phones then you will need the apple 30 pin to lightning converter as the new phones don't have a DAC built into the phone like the old ones with the 30 pin so you need it to convert from digital to analogue so the 3.5mm jack will make noise..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I got a longer 3.5mm cable and ran it behind the trim to the sunglasses holder then ran a 12v socket there as well. I have my iPod in a magnetic holder in the glasses holder and its jailbroken so it stops playing when the ignition is turned off. This way I don't need to keep putting it away I just close the holder. |

I did what someone suggested to me, I bought a neet airstream which is similar to an Apple TV connect that to the aux and place it in the centre console, you then connect to the airStream using the wifi and then use AirPlay function. My daughter has a non cellular iPad and I have a car charger wifi that can connect 10 devices, yeah you need another data plan but it works. I also have the dealer iPod connector but it is not lightening so it is pants.
